For over 20 years, Eve has held various positions within the program management office. Ten of those years were spent at a Fortune 500 defense contractor where she held various roles from Lead Planner on a $440 million dollar defense program to Program Manager. Government audits are a regular part of managing a defense contract, and Eve has proven herself through numerous reviews conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) including Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and three company-wide Earned Value Management System (EVMS) audits. During the last two EVMS audits, Eve led the effort to ensure Planning compliance across the organization. In all reviews, the quality of her work product was proven and received the highest praise.
Now she owns Palmer Project Planning & Analysis (P3A) and actively consults with clients including a Fortune Global 500 company. In addition, she also teaches Project Management to both undergraduate and graduate students through the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, a position she has held for over three years.
Finally, Eve is a certified Scrum Product Owner, certified PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), and PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP). In the past, she was active in the local PMI-Tucson chapter and held various positions on the Board including President, Vice President Membership, and Vice President Programs.
Outside of work, Eve enjoys creative writing, reading, running, and rock climbing.
