For over 15 years, Eve has held various positions within the program management office. Ten of those years were spent at a Fortune 500 defense contractor where she held various roles from Lead Planner on a $440 million dollar defense program to Program Manager. Government audits are a regular part of managing a defense contract, and Eve has proven herself through numerous reviews conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) including Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and three company-wide Earned Value Management System (EVMS) audits. During the last two EVMS audits, Eve led the effort to ensure Planning compliance across the organization. In all reviews, the quality of her work product was proven and received the highest praise.
Now she owns Palmer Project Planning & Analysis (P3A) and actively consults with clients including a Fortune Global 500 company. In addition, she also teaches Project Management to both undergraduate and graduate students through the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, a position she has held for over three years.
Finally, Eve is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), active within the local Program Management community, volunteering her time as Vice President of Membership for the Tucson Project Management Institute (PMI) chapter. This is her second, consecutive elected position with the chapter; previously, she held the position of Vice President of Programs.
Outside of work, Eve enjoys creative writing, reading, running, and rock climbing.
